The 832 units at The Meadows are divided into 6 neighborhoods or Villages — Greenwich, Lakemont, Mayflower, Brighton, Foxboro and Ridgewood — consisting of single-family homes, duplexes, 4 unit townhouses, and 4 unit patio homes.

The Meadows is an established controlled-access community that maintains an extensive infrastructure of roads, trails, and parks. The presence of the guarded gated-access adds a level of comfort for the residents and guests of The Meadows .

The Martin Downs Property Owners Association has been responsible for the security in The Meadows for over twenty five years. Their record during that time has been outstanding. The constant visual presence of roving patrols and the single entry gates, manned 24/7, have served as a definite deterrent to criminal activities.  Serious crimes like robbery, larceny and breaking and entering have been minimal in spite of significant growth of the community.  For the past 10 years Martin Downs has hired its own security staff and have had very low turnover. They provide consistent attention to its resident’s needs and have an uncanny ability to recognize unauthorized activity.

The Meadows at Martin Downs is maintained by a homeowners association. The Meadows Home Owners Association, Inc. is responsible for administration and management.
