Community Security Through Preparedness.

Community security is a concern of the residents of Martin County.  To address that concern Martin County, with the help of  its volunteer within the community, do all they can to provide a safe environment for its residents. They work together to help our community become prepared.  They hope our efforts will build a more disaster resilient community.

They encourage their residents to participate in a range of measures to make their families, their homes, and their communities safer from the threats of crime, public health issues, and disasters of all kinds.  When people in our community are prepared, emergency responders can help more people. When people are prepared themselves, they can help their neighbors.

Emergencies happen; It’s a fact of life.  Any emergency is easier to handle when you have prepared ahead of time. Being prepared for an emergency can often mean the difference between an inconvenience and a catastrophe.  Being aware of potential problems and being pro-active in finding solution is the key to increased security.

Many of Martin County’s communities are gated. These  communities are secured by entrance gates manned by security personnel 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The enhanced presence of gated-access adds a level of comfort for their residents and guests.

Professionally trained security staff provides an array of services for the community that adds convenience to everyday life.  Security staff members respond to resident inquiries, process guests and vendors, assist emergency personnel in response to 9-1-1 calls, and patrol the community to promote traffic safety.  They basically assist residents in almost any capacity possible.

If you witness a crime in progress call 911 first, the Martin County sheriff will respond.  Residents of home owners associations should then call their local security staff.
